2008/2009 BOARD OF DIRECTORS ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING, September 24, 2008

Introduction of new Board members
New Board members present included Joylynn George from Price County and Stacy Letvina from Manitowoc County.

Election of Officers
Kathy Gourdine was nominated to be Treasurer. Motion to accept made by Dave Schoonover, seconded by Sarah Socha. Kathy accepted position. Motion carried.
Jeff Weiler was nominated to be secretary. Kathy Gourdine made a motion to accept, seconded by Cindy Waller. Jeff accepted position. Motion carried.
Dave Schoonover was nominated to be President-elect. Ann Achter made a motion to accept, seconded by Kathy Gourdine. Dave accepted position. Motion carried.

Appointment of Committee chairpersons

Committee assignments Sign-up sheet was completed and will be provided by e-mail.

Old Business Dave Schoonover made a motion to appoint Chris Pruitt to the WJCIA Board to fill a vacant position, seconded by Glenda Cooper. Motion carried.

Chris Pruitt and Barb Rahm agreed to form an Ad Hoc committee to study the transition process as a new board of directors begins their term.
