President’s Report

Case Problems
Problems with the eWisacwis system and cases ending up with multiple caseheads when abuse reports on the same child are entered from different households. Looking for ideas on how to avoid this situation. The only option discussed at current time is to merge duplicate cases as they appear.

Department of Corrections Report

Gretchen Kubnick reports the lack of a budget has slowed movement with pending legislation at the current time. Handouts were provided with updates for sex offender registration for juveniles, pending legislation, and an updated list of municipal ordinances pertaining to registered sex offenders and where they can live. Gretchen also reports the State of WI has received a Federal grant to work with re-entry programs for juveniles leaving state institutions. The proposed grant is set to last 4-years and could possibly lead to a permanent position at the state level.
