Minutes Annual Association Meeting
September 26, 2007
Country Springs Hotel & Conference Center, Stevens Point, WI

I. Call to Order

Meeting called to order at 12:30 p.m. by President Tom Matykowski.

II. Secretary’s Report

Motion to waive reading of secretary’s report made by Julie Dollahon, seconded by Kay Marose. Motion carried.

III. Treasurer’s Report

Kathy Gourdine provided a hard copy of the treasurer’s report for those interested.

IV. Committee Reports

A. Legislative Committee
Jeff Lindemann, committee chair, reports they will continue to monitor proposed legislation. The current State budget process has delayed progress of pending legislation. The main topic of interest at this time is to promote and monitor the Threat to Harm Social Workers Bill.
B. Curriculum Committee
Sara Socha, committee chair, reports they will be organizing an advanced intake training in conjunction with the Training Committee. This is scheduled for Spring 2008.
C. Training Committee
Kim Bolden, committee chair, reports they will continue to provide basic intake training and assist with the advanced intake training set for Spring 2008.

V. Introduction of 2007-08 WJCIA President Sara Socha was made by Tom Matykowski.

VI. Election of 2007-08 Board of Directors was completed.

A motion to adjourn the meeting made by Chris Pruitt, seconded by Kay Marose. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
